About Rhonda

In 1998, I moved from San Diego, California, to Houston, Texas. I love the sense of community, boundless opportunity, and never-ending energy of the city. One of my biggest professional and personal motivators as a realtor has been witnessing Houston's momentous growth and wanting to share my expertise and desire to serve others with each and every client I take on.
 
Before I entered the real estate world, I wore many professional hats, having worked as a portfolio accountant, an operating room coordinator, a manager at an upscale lounge, and I even started my own entertainment promotions company. Years of experience in the service industry, lifelong exposure to residential homes (my father was a general contractor, and I took every opportunity to learn his valuable skills), knowledge of creating and following systems and analytics, and a servant leader attitude made choosing a career in real estate the perfect fit. In 2013, I began my career as a Realtor and have put my personal vision, value, and belief of fulfillment in life through being of service to others at the forefront of what I offer to my clients. In March 2019, I also began to coach and train new agents through my experience, knowledge, and heart of service by joining the Leadership Team for a large international broker, to further serve those who also have a heart for helping others, creating lives worth living, businesses worth having, and legacies worth leaving.
 
I find personal fulfillment in helping others and find it easy to build rewarding personal relationships with those I assist. In fact, I pride myself on the fact that many of my past clients have become loyal friends. I am loyal, honest, driven, and dedicated to going the extra mile, whether it's staying up to date with the latest in technology to streamline my clients' experience or just taking time to listen and truly be there every step of the way for questions, fears, excitement, and updates. I utilize my deep understanding of structural components, architectural features, and aesthetic elements to ensure my clients obtain maximum value in every scenario. This is not a job for me; it is an honor to play an integral role in something as monumental as the purchase or sale of a home.
 
When I am not spending time with clients, I enjoy being around my husband and two children (19 and 13 years old) and our extended families. In 2009, I embarked on the journey of an avid practice of Taekwondo, where I persistently trained to achieve the rank of first-degree black belt. I credit my unbreakable focus and ability to set and exceed personal goals to the hard work that I put in for this achievement and apply the principles and values of the practice to my life and work, approaching every situation with a black belt attitude of perseverance, honor with others, integrity within myself, and respect for everyone around me.
 
I have received certifications as an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, Certified Charitable Real Estate Specialist, and am a preferred Agent of the Veterans Land Board. I am also certified in HECM lending sales for people 62 and older in order to be a valuable partner to others in the pursuit of their dreams. I am a member in good standing at the Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
