Helping families move from “one day” to home.

Real estate has been a part of my story long before I became a Realtor. Growing up in Alabama, I watched my parents transform homes through remodeling, and I fell in love with the idea that a house could be renewed, transformed and made into a place people are proud to call home.

My own journey to homeownership wasn't perfect—and that's exactly why I became a Realtor.

At 23, I became a homeowner while raising a child as a single mother. I experienced the pride and stability of owning a home, but during the 2008 housing market crash, I lost my home to foreclosure. Afterward, I filed bankruptcy and spent years renting while working to rebuild.

I eventually tried again.

At 37, I was approved for a new construction home after another family decided not to move forward with their contract. I was able to take over the contract and had chosen the home, lot, floor plan and finishes I wanted. Unfortunately, a missed auto payment was reported and re-flagged my credit, and I was unable to move forward.

That hurt—but I didn't quit.

A few years later, I was pre-approved again. This time, my husband and I selected our own lot, floor plan, fixtures and amenities, and we finally closed on the home we wanted.
That journey taught me something I want every client to know:

Your past does not have to determine your future.

I know what it feels like to start over. I know what it's like to rent, rebuild, face financial setbacks and wonder whether you'll ever get another opportunity to own.

That's why I especially love helping first-time buyers, single mothers, families rebuilding financially, renters ready to become homeowners, and buyers who simply don't know where to begin.
