Kyonna Johnson

Kyonna Johnson was born and raised in the beautiful town of St. Petersburg, Florida. Kyonna is the 3rd generation of Realtors in her family with her grandfather, Cleveland Johnson, Sr., being the first licensed African-American real estate broker in St. Petersburg, Florida. He opened Johnson’s Realty in 1960.

In regards to Kyonna’s academic background, she was a Fall 1999 graduate from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology and a minor in Biology.

In 2003 Kyonna returned to St. Petersburg to be near her family. After relocating back to St. Petersburg, Kyonna had the opportunity to accompany her father to an open house for a home where he was the listing agent. It was an open-house which eventually resulted in the sale of that property. Kyonna felt the surge of adrenaline and the excitement that resulted from this sales transaction and, from that one event she decided to complete the requirements for a Florida Real Estate License. She enrolled in the requisite course and in October 2004 she received her Florida Real Estate License.

Kyonna’s extensive knowledge of St. Petersburg and the surrounding areas is very helpful to clients when they are looking to buy or sell real estate. Additionally, Kyonna has worked as a Contract Compliance Auditor. From this experience, she obtained skills that are extremely helpful when negotiating contracts for her clients.
