Leslie began her real estate career in 1997 in Denver, Colorado. She worked with an amazing agent named Marilyn Vansteenberg at Buyers Best Choice Real Estate. Marilyn was a wonderful teacher and Leslie learned mountains about real estate from her. While Denver is a beautiful and amazing city she longed to live by the ocean. Lucky for her in 2003 she set out for the sunny state of Florida landing in Tampa along with her son. Leslie enjoyed Tampa and decided to stay for good, attendeding real estate school at Bob Hogue School of Real Estate.
In 2005 she joined a team at Keller Williams. Leslie became a buyer agent where she learned a great deal about the beautiful city of Tampa. In the years following Leslie became a number one buyer agent on a team (2007-2009). Leslie’s focus became short sale homes (helping homeowners out of difficult situations during the years of 2009-2012). In 2012 Leslie decided it was time to learn more about sellers and joined Weichert Realtors Yates & Associates. Here she was focused on bank owned homes, listings and buyers. Leslie is persistent and enjoys finding creative solutions to help people find what they are looking for. She is able to guide home owners through the listing process and buyers through the purchasing process with ease and foresight. She listens to each individual in order to capture the needs and wants of each, as they are different for every transaction; and she has the background and backbone to do it! Currently Leslie is an agent with Dalton Wade, Inc. She understands the market conditions as well as many other variables the Florida market offers.
Leslie loves living in Beach Park which is centrally located in South Tampa. Schools here are rated some of the best in the city and state. South Tampa is surrounded by malls, amazing shopping, wonderful restaurants, nightlife and it is minutes to the airport and highways.
Leslie is also a photographer, avid gardener and makes jewerly but above all family is the most important thing to her. She enjoys life in Beach Park, Tampa, Fl with her two dogs Pooh Bear and Bodie (Bo). You may see them walking the neighborhood or in many of the surrounding dog parks around town. Another passion of hers, which may seem obvious, is renovating houses. It started back in the late 1990’s when she purchased her first home in Denver, Co. Most recently she completed homes in South Tampa, Temple Terrace, Ybor and New Tampa.
