GLOCAL: Global, now local. I was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa to an Apartheid era exile. We emigrated to England for five years and then we moved to Canada in 1971. After graduating from McMaster University, Hamilton, ON with a Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.E), I enrolled in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and served for 28 plus years. During my military career I lived in: Canada, Germany, Oklahoma City, OK, and I spent too many months in South-West Asia. In 2010, I had the good fortune to meet Kelly Ann who has been my wonderful wife since our idyllic wedding in Kauai in 2014.
We moved to the Florida in 2014; first Sarasota, then Riverview and finally, we settled in Valencia Lakes in Wimauma. All that moving and travel means that I have lived amongst many different peoples and cultures and the one thing that has remained constant with me throughout has been my commitment to integrity and living by the Golden Rule. I have owned numerous homes and I have been a renter as well both globally and locally. I have experienced the real estate market when it was stagnant and when it was booming - 'Been there, done that'. Understanding your needs starts by truly listening to you and learning what you really want. Personal experiences and wisdom help me to understand your needs and in effect to serve you better.
Prior to moving into Valencia Lakes, we sold our home in Riverview in 2017 in less than 24 hours, with one viewing. Upon my military retirement and dedicated to life-long learning, I attained my Master of Laws (LL.M) degree, with a specialization in Mediation, from Osgoode Hall Law School (York University, Toronto, ON) in 2016. I am also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and a Notary.
Also, I have had extensive community volunteerism and service with the United Way, Rotary, Masonry, and Home Owner Associations.

Without a doubt, Zoki provided me with the best market analysis report I have ever received from a Realtor. I am a driver driver and expect a report to be thorough and detailed. The report I received exceeded my expectations. It was more than thorough and provided a detailed review of the market, what previously sold and my competition. With this information in hand, I could easily establish a market price for selling that could be competitive and ensure my home would sell in a short period of time rather than unrealistic selling prices that other Realtors quoted me. A word to the wise. Any Realtor that establishes a price that is not competitive will guarantee you that they will suggest lowering the sale price in a couple of weeks when your home does not sell.
We were looking for another home in our neighborhood. Our inspections were not rushed. Zoki pointed out not only the good features of each home but also what might be considered disadvantageous features by some buyers. We were impressed by his knowledge and true understanding of the marketplace dynamics. He also advised us when he had listed the home we were seeing so there was no surprises later on. Not all agents do this.
When we informed Zoki of our decision to stay in our current home, he accepted our decision graciously. There was no push-back and no attempt to change our mind, something very unique for a realtor.
