Professional Experience:
Don has assisted thousands of satisfied customers while serving as a Realtor in St. Petersburg since the middle 1960’s. After 25 years of successful association with “pauline” Inc. Real Estate Company, he joined RE/MAX Action First in 1990, serving for 26 years. He is a full time professional Real Estate agent that enjoys helping people handle changes and needs in their lives that are associated with their home, vacation housing, retirement condos, and real estate investments. He was a team leader of the dynamic DON BOGUE TEAM, organized in 2004 to better serve friends and customers with their real estate needs throughout the community. Don’s motto and slogan is “Steadily Selling St. Pete Since 1970” or as The St. Petersburg Times wrote in an article about Don, “The Veteran”, soft selling his way to success.
Professional Education and Designations:
Don attended local schools as a child including St. Petersburg High School. Don Bogue earned his A.A. Degree from St. Petersburg Junior College and a B.S. Degree from Florida State University in 1962. He later participated in post graduate studies at Stetson University College of Law, successfully completing selected courses there. He is continually involved with professional real estate courses to stay abreast of current trends and requirements in the continually changing real estate business. Through the years he has served the local Board of Realtors on strategic committees.
Personal/Comments:
Don grew up in St. Petersburg, moving here with his family when he was ten years old. He is very familiar with the area and possesses a lot of local knowledge. Don is married, has five children and several grand and great grandchildren. He is and has been very active in the community. A few of the organizations he is or has been involved with throughout his career are: Toastmasters, Sertoma, Suncoasters (an organization that sponsored and implemented the annual Festival of States), Sunrise Rotary (Past President & charter member) St. Petersburg Yacht Club member and Past Commodore, St. Petersburg Yacht Club Delegate to the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs (Commodore), a member of the International Fellowship of Yachting Rotarians. He also belongs to the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors and the Pinellas Realtor Organization. Don received many awards during his real estate career. While at RE/MAX awards included the 100% Club for many years, Platinum Club Award and the prestigious Hall of Fame Award. Don enjoys time with his family, biking, sailing and walking and singing in his church choir.
He also holds an inactive Commercial Pilots License.
