During the late 70’s and early 80’s my stepfather sold homesites and vacation homes in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. My first job was working in these communities doing landscaping and lawn care. Some of the best salespeople from all over the country flocked to the area and soon I started learning the trade from these pros. By the time I was 18 I had my first real estate sale. I’ve been in the real estate world ever since and love it. I work hard for my clients, making sure they get the best deal possible and I’ve been fortunate to have many clients become friends.
Kelly and I are family people. When her dad retired we all-her folks, us, our kids and our brother’s family, moved here to Florida. You can’t beat the warm winters and the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a perfect place for us to enjoy the outdoors life-and we do-fishing, camping, boating with our dogs and hunting. There’s nothing better than when one or more of our seven kids or three grandkids joins us.
Real estate comes naturally to me. I grew up with a mom who was a real estate agent, and when I married Bob, he was already licensed in New Jersey and Florida. You know what they say – if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. And that is exactly how I feel about Real Estate. Our corner of Florida is special to me and I love showing it off. Getting to know our clients and learning what they want in a house and neighborhood gives me an opportunity to share this wonderful area. It’s such a great feeling when we find the perfect home for our clients.
When I’m not working, you will probably find me on the water. Bob and I love going out on the boat whether it’s to take a trip or out to lunch. In my leftover spare time, I’ve been learning about the incredibly rich history of my family. Many of my ancestors settled in Southern Maryland-long enough ago that I am applying to the Daughters of the American Revolution-and their stories fascinate me. Also I’m a George Mason U graduate and belong to Alpha Omicron Pi.
