John bought a house in Vermont several years ago, and did all the things necessary to coordinate moving from Virginia. Incredibly, the moving truck went missing for over a week. Multiple Federal and state authorities warned to expect the worst - all the property was stolen. While family, friends, investigators were convinced that all was lost, John kept his head and persevered through this ordeal. His patient perseverance came through when all property was found and delivered. John never lost his cool throughout the turmoil.

This story perfectly sums up the kind of agent John Finity is, and the type of agent he continuously strives to be for his clients. John was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what he did. And he worked hard.
John was raised in small town in Upstate NY, with 3 siblings. He had aspirations of being an airline pilot; a dentist; a church minister. Never in a million years did he think he’d stumble into the real estate industry, but you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life.

He first became interested in Real Estate when he took a course on Real Estate in college. He always had a heart for serving others: in church as a deacon; the US Army as a medical corpsman; as a 20 year youth soccer referee; helping senior adults in the community with technology. John chose to pursue Real Estate for the sake of serving others with his technical, community, and relationship skills.

His extensive professional career uniquely complements his Real Estate interests. He's an engaging, personable, introvert. John Finity lives in Westlake, FL with the love of his life Jackie, a Boston Terrier, and couple of felines who reign over the home. In his spare time, John enjoys serving others, traveling, sightseeing, cooking, tennis, and motorcycling.
