All real estate agents have a backstory that provides them with life experiences and defines them as a person and a professional. As a former State Trooper, my focus was always on serving my community members and providing for their safety to the best of my ability. As a husband and father of 4, my focus is to provide for my family and love them in every way that I can. And as a graduate from the University of Georgia in landscape architecture, I was tasked with designing pools and outdoor living spaces that my clients would use and enjoy for years to come.

Working in real estate is similar to all of those experiences in some regards because while the physical risks might not be present, real estate requires that you wear many hats. You must be curious and willing to ask questions to find out the true motivation for each transaction. You must be a good listener and communicator. And you must be prepared to be an advocate for your client in each transaction. Actually, I would also add that you must be willing to be a friend to your client as well because friendship is based on giving without expecting anything in return....which is something I believe to be missing in most real estate transactions today.

My approach to real estate is simply to handle each transaction and each client as if they were my family member for whom I always want the absolute best. Relationships matter to me, and therefore, I will always be the guy you can call in any emergency when you don’t know who else to call. Actions always speak louder than words.
