My name is Uriel Vergara. I have been a Real Estate Agent licensed in Florida since 2014. My country of
birth is Colombia in the city of Barranquilla. My parents immigrated to the United States back in the 60’s
and I grew up in the city of Reno, Nevada.
I moved to Florida in 1972, after getting discharged honorably from the Airforce where I spend 4 years
during the Vietnam War. I worked in Miami with an International Airline for about 20 years until 1992
when Hurricane Andrew hit south Florida. I can say that we survived Andrew. The storm destroyed our
home, we rebuilt and sold the home at a good price. This was my first experience of selling a home and I
thought about becoming a Real Estate Agent. My family and I moved to the State of Nevada to reunite
with our parents.
In Nevada I worked for several non-profit organizations Step 2 and the Children Cabinet as a Case
Manager helping adults and young kids overcome addiction, and other challenges such as education and
In 2011 my wife’s work transferred us to the State of Texas, and we lived there for two years. I really like
Texas and that’s where I started my real estate education at the local college. In 2013 we moved back to
Florida, and I decided to become a Real Estate Professional and got my license in 2014.
As a Real Estate Professional with 9 years’ experience in the Pompano Beach, Coral Springs, Margate and Tamarac area, I offer my experience and I come right out that I am not trying to sell you anything, but I am pleased to be of service. I am giving you the benefit of my experience and advice of what I have learned in my career selling houses and being in real estate transactions for both sellers and buyers. Then, if you want me to help you find a house or sell your home we can talk. I will do my best to work for you obtaining the best price value for your home.
