Move to Miami…Now: Neighborhoods and Restaurants

It’s easy to tell why northerners are flocking to Florida – South Florida in particular. It’s more than the weather and lower property taxes and zero income tax. According to Millionacres  [February 2021], “Miami has seen 109 consecutive months of price appreciation — that’s nine years straight. This past year, Broward county home sales increased 26.5%, Miami-Dade home sales increased 23.3% year over year, and Palm Beach home sales increased 16.5%.” Compared to San Francisco, New York City or L.A. your expenses and cost of living will be much lower.”

There are 40 Miami neighborhoods. Finding the one that is best for you is dependent on many factors…Let’s dive into a few favorites:

Coconut Grove- Defined by its’ artistic and historic culture,  this pedestrian-friendly neighborhood is full of art decor, picturesque gardens, biking along the boardwalk, and the shopping is well renowned.

Wynwood – This is the place to be and to be seen. It’s become the defining neighborhood of Miami. It is quite literally the epicenter of anything and everything art, fashion, food and wellness. Gorgeous galleries, breweries, and art on every corner…Wynwood is “it” if that is for you.
