We’ve taken the liberty of delving into the dining scene in Tampa! Below, we have pulled together a list of what we consider to be the top ten restaurants in the city.
La Terrazza Ristorante
If you’re an Italian food connoisseur, this is the place to go! La Terrazza opened up in 1996, under the direction of Andre Fenu.
This restaurant offers a classic take from Northern Italy inspired dishes. The atmosphere is fantastic- quaint and not stuffy!. La Terrazza is a great place to meet up for lunch or dinner with the family or on a romantic date.

The name says it all. If you love seafood and you want to leave your dining experience a happy customer, visit Happy Fish! Happy Fish offers an authentic Peruvian twist to its diners. Combine delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere with a menu offering variety and value and you have Happy Fish. Not to mention the exceptional service.

Charley’s Steak House & Market Fresh Fish
Imagine your cut of steak cooking over wood on custom-built pits, with the unique flavor profile of Florida citrus & oak woods. Oxford Exchange
This restaurant is one of Tampa’s hot spots — a place to be seen! Not only is the atmosphere fantastic, the executive chef sets a high bar for the food experience! We also love how they have a few gluten free options for diners with restrictions and sensitivities.
We love brunching here– a must for all brunch-goers! If you visit, try the Kale Scramble or the Fried Avocado Wedges!
Tampa Bay Brewing Company
If you’re looking for a pub type atmosphere and great beer, look no further than the Tampa Bay Brewing Company! Our favorite brews are the Red Eye Amber Ale and Florida’s True Blonde Ale. We also devoured the Cantonese Calamari and the Blue Crab and Shrimp Cakes while we were there. If you’re looking for a good burger, check out the Black and Bleu or the Bomb… both were incredible!
Ulele
We love this restaurant and it’s location on the Hillsborough River next to the Ulele Spring, which flows to the river. From the owners: Ulele is a native-inspired restaurant and brewery, using fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood and other proteins from Florida when they are available, just as their ancestors did.
Our favorite dish is the Yellowfin Tuna! The runner up goes to their Filet Mignon.

Mise En Place Restaurant
We love this place for the wine… their wine list is fantastic! While we were there, we tried the French Curry Crusted Seared Diver Scallops, as well as the Watermelon Burrata and the Sous Vide Venison — all were good! The service was up to snuff as well — we left content.
