The Dunedin Fine Art Center  has grown to be one of the most renowned centers for visual art instruction and exhibition in the southeastern United States. It houses 5 galleries, 15 studio classrooms, the Gallery Gift Shop, the Palm Cafe and the DLM Children’s ART Museum– at almost 40,000 square feet in total.

More recently the city opened its Community Center, which is in the good company of the Dunedin Nature Center and the Highlander Pool Complex.

The Dunedin Country Club golf course is semi-private. There are memberships available and the course is open to the public.

The Dunedin Marina has 194 boat slips and is known to be one of the finest municipal marinas on the West Coast of Florida.

ANNUAL EVENTS

American Classics, American Heroes Car Show –  The event features a wide variety of classic & custom cars, trucks and motorcycles from all over the area, bringing in over 175 auto enthusiasts and attracting over 3,000 happy spectators.

Dunedin Wines The Blues – this event features fantastic live blues and delicious spirits.

Dunedin Mardi Gras – This is one celebration which closely rivals the experience of New Orleans, with a Florida twist.

Taste of Dunedin – Experience all that Dunedin and surrounding areas have to offer in the restaurant world!

Films in the Park – Every Friday in October, movie begins at dark at John R. Lawrence Pioneer Park
Grab your blanket and picnic basket and head downtown for a relaxing evening watching a movie under the night sky.

Holiday Boat Parade & Tree Lighting – Traditionally held at Dunedin Marina/Edgewater Park. Guests can ring in the holidays during this waterfront celebration, as decorated boats parade through the Marina at approximately 7pm. Event-goers will enjoy holiday music and S’mores while waiting for Santa to arrive by boat and lead the countdown in the lighting of the City’s Christmas tree.
