Plant City Real Estate Winter Strawberry Capitol of The World!

Plant City, located between Tampa and Lakeland, is known as the winter strawberry capital of the world and hosts the annual Florida Strawberry Festival drawing attendees from all over the US and the world. The Plant City Bing Rooming House Museum, is one of only two National African-American Landmarks in Hillsborough County. Both were established to preserve African American history. Though some may think the city’s name is derived from agricultural roots, it is actually named for railroad developer, Henry B. Plant.
